Please join the Capital Markets Institute on January 26, 2017 for a panel discussion on Rewarding Corporate Whistleblowers: Will this Improve Canadian Capital Markets? The event will feature Heidi Franken, Chief, Office of the Whistleblower, Ontario Securities Commission, insights from current research on the US whistleblowing experience from Andrew Call, Associate Professor, W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University, and opening comments from Alexander Dyck, Manulife Financial Chair in Financial Services, Rotman School of Management and Director, Capital Markets Institute. To explore implications for Canadian capital markets, a panel discussion will follow featuring Peter Dent, Partner, Deloitte Canada and Past Chair & President, Transparency International Canada, Stephen Kohn, a leading US lawyer and expert on whistleblowing and Executive Director of the National Whistleblower Center (US), in addition to the speakers.
